Josie’s dance experience:
“I’ve been dancing sine I was four years old. I started out taking jazz, ballet and tap classes. As I grew older, I enjoyed ballet and jazz as well as cheering for my junior high football team.

In high school, I belonged to the Pom Pon squad all four years, performing at all home football and basketball games as well as competing in competitions. I also was a member of the school’s Dance Club for three years.

For the past four years, I’ve improved my technical skills by taking jazz/hip-hop and ballet classes at American Dance Center in Orland Park. I’ve also taken classes at ‘The Edge’ studio in Los Angeles, California. Now, with hip-hop being so popular, I can’t help but enjoy it the most out of all types of dance.

Performing in front of a crowd, whether it is on stage or at a sporting event, is the ultimate rush for me. My favorite dance moment would have to be performing at a National Competition in Disney World. What I love about dancing is that it allows me to release any outside stress I may have and express my every emotion.”

Career Goal: To be a free-lance hair and make-up artist behind the scenes of photo shoots and movies.

Lifetime Goal: To have a happy, successful career, to travel the world and to be a great wife and mother.

I’m happiest when…: I’m lying by a pool or beach.

My claim to fame is…: Working on a “Jenny Jones” make-over show and appearing in the July issue of “Modern Salon” magazine.

Most unusual job: Being a teacher’s aid in high school.

Most people don’t know this about me…: That I’m a huge Britany Spears fan!

My most embarrassing moment was…: Chipping my front tooth when I was thirteen by sliding down the hallway on my stomach wearing a puffy winter coat.
