What does being a member of the Luvabulls mean to you?

Being a Luvabull is very important to me. It allows me to showcase my talents and gave me the opportunity to meet some amazing people. I have learned a lot from being a member of this team and I look forward to another great year on the squad.

What is your claim to fame—besides being a Luvabull?

I want my claim to fame to be my talents as a hair stylist. One day I want to style hair for the celebrities. I know if I work hard enough and stay focused on my goal I will one day be a stylist to the stars.

How has your dancing experience led you to this point?

Having had dance training all my life has given me the foundation needed to be successful on this team. I may not be the best at every style of dance, but by being an experienced dancer, I know what it means to be flexible and flexibility has helped a lot on this team.

Describe the feeling of performing at a Bulls playoff game.

Dancing at a Bulls playoff game is amazing! The support of the fans is indescribable. It’s really loud from the fans cheering and every seat is filled. I love playoff games simply because the energy is contagious!

What do you do for a living?

My daily life consists of me going to school and then to work. I am currently in my last year of school where I am studying business management. I want to one day own my own salon. After school I go to work as an activity leader at an elementary school on the south side of Chicago tutoring students in math, reading and science. I also coach a high school pom team twice a week where my girls perform at various home games.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date and where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I haven’t yet attained my proudest accomplishment yet, but it is coming very soon. In the future I just hope to be blessed, happy and successful. I hope to achieve whatever goals I set for myself and I know as long as I stay focused, anything is possible.

What people do you admire the most and how have they supported or inspired you as a dancer?

I admire my mom the most because she is so strong and she is the heart of my family. She has always been there for me and supported me in every aspect of my life. I can’t imagine life without my mother. She means the world to me and I love and respect her. I would truly be lost without her.
