I’m happiest when…
I am surrounded by my family, friends, dance students, and when I am performing.

My claim to fame is…
Being a Chicago Luvabull!

Most unusual job:
In modeling and dance you come across a wide variety of interesting jobs, here are a few of which I have had the pleasure: Miss Chiquita Banana, Birthday Barbie, Hawaiian Barbie/Hula dance instructor, body paint model, tour director for Brian Wilson’s Imagination tour.

Most people don’t know this about me:
I won the swimsuit competition during the Miss Illinois USA pageant.

Most embarrassing moment was…
When dancing for Rasa Dance Theatre, one of our most incredible costumes was extremely detailed body paint; unfortunately, during the course of the highly athletic dance, I began to “lose” my body paint, and by the end of the piece, I was holding what was left of “my costume” as I hit my last pose and ran for the wings!

My passions are…
Dancing, decorating, designing, traveling and my Lab, Remy.

Favorite food:
French bread baguettes, Caesar salad, Lobster, dark chocolate, and Coldstone.

Favorite Movie:
“Chicago”

Favorite book:
“DaVinci Code”

I stay at home to watch…
Reruns of Sex in the City, Modern Girls Guide to Life, anything on MTV, Nip/Tuck, and the style network.

If I could vacation anywhere, I’d…
Backpack through Asia and Africa, finishing off the adventure with a safari in South Africa.

The person/people I most admire are…
My parents.

My proudest accomplishment to date is…
Graduating from The University of Iowa Magna Cum Laude with honors and 2 degrees in 4 years, and recently, buying my first home!

What is the best advice I could give to kids?
Follow your heart and your instinct when it comes to fulfilling your dreams and your career goals. You will be much happier in life if you are doing something that you truly love, and will be much better at it. But seek assistance, support and guidance, all of which will aid you to make smart decisions along the way.

What is the best gift you have ever received?
The love and support of my family and friends, and the various opportunities given to me such as to explore my interests and my career, study abroad and travel around the world. My parents gave me these gifts without realizing the impact that they would make upon my life, aiding in the creation of the person I am today.

Name two people you would like to have dinner with…
Tina Landon (Choreographer and dancer) and Jennifer Lopez, for insight into their careers and their success.

What would you like to be doing in five years?
I hope to still be dancing, and have gone back to school, while also developing my career/business. I also hope to be married and sharing my life goals and dreams with my husband.
