Meet Luvabull Erin
St. Louis, MO
Full time graduate student in clinical psychology, counseling specialization at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
Southeast Missouri State University
Irish, German, English
Began dancing when I was five at Geri Stretz Professional Dance Center in St. Louis, MO. I began competing at age 11 and continued to do so until I graduated from high school. During my years at Geri Stretz Professional Dance Center, I was trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and modern dance while also traveling to New York and Chicago for master level dance classes. Once in college I spent four years dancing on my college dance team, and served as captain my last two years. My team competed at NDA, as well as UDA national competitions and I earned a dance minor while at Southeast Missouri State. After graduating I coached a high school Jr. Varsity dance team until I moved to Chicago.
At this point I have too many interests and passions to pinpoint just one lifetime goal however I would like to be able to look back on my life knowing I did my best to create a good life for myself and my family. My main goal is to make sure I am always happy with what I'm doing, and have the courage to make the necessary changes which will ensure my happiness.
Three words that describe me are

Why I chose to be a Luvabull
The Luvabulls represent more then beauty and talent. The women who make up the Luvabulls are determined, intelligent, hard working, and caring members of their communities. I knew when I became a Luvabull I was going to learn how to enhance every positive aspect of my life while furthering my dance abilities.
Halloween for sure!
The Princess Bride (itís a family favorite)
I would have to say my best quality is my determination. When I set my mind to something, chances are it gets done, and being determined has played a large part in helping me to achieve all that I have.

My proudest accomplishment to date is...
My proudest accomplishment to date is my education. I worked hard to get into my first choice graduate school, and my parents always made sure to place my schooling first. Thanks to their dedication, I truly value my education.
What is the best gift you have ever received?
My brother and sister-in-law gave me the gift of being an Aunt. Although I have only been an aunt for a few months, it has been a blessing.
Not sure yet; I still have plenty of time to figure it out! As far as Iím concerned youíre only young once so do what you love, even if itís several different things and eventually you will find yourself in your ideal job.
Advice to young dancers
Never avoid a situation because you think you cannot do it. If you always go after what you want, you will learn what you need to succeed.
