Meet Luvabull Colleen
Hi, I am 25 years old, I am an entrepreneur/freelance designer originally from Chicago. I attended the Illinois Institute of Art and my nickname is "Col."
I have been dancing since the age of three and have studied jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe, and hip hop in a studio setting. My favorite styles are complete opposites, hip hop and pointe. Through high school I danced all four years on the pom squad as well as Orchesis, my high school dance troupe. I was an officer for the dance troupe my senior year. As an officer we not only had to choreograph the show but do costumes, lighting, all the way down to the theme, it was a major production each year.
In college I did not have a dance team so I auditioned for the Chicago Rush AFL team. I danced on the Adrenaline Rush for three years. I was fortunate enough to go to the Arena Bowl in Las Vegas where the Chicago Rush took home the Championship. Currently this is my third year dancing for the Chicago Luvabulls.
To be happy and healthy and embrace every opportunity that comes my way. The road to success always takes an unexpected turn, but I believe that is when you truly find your path. Stay focused while enjoying the present, but looking forward to the future and to some day have my own beautiful family.

Advice to young dancers
Follow your dreams; it is a freedom that no one can take from you. Believe in yourself because if you don't no one else will. Constantly challenge yourself; you will be surprised at just how much you really can do.
