Bulls to open the season with the team’s annual Tip-Off Luncheon

The Bulls will officially open the 2007.08 basketball season with the team’s annual Tip-Off Luncheon on Friday, October 26 at the Hilton Chicago.

Long-time Bulls radio broadcaster Neil Funk will emcee the event that will include addresses from Bulls General Manager John Paxson and Head Coach Scott Skiles. Bulls’ players will be on hand to comment on their expectations and goals for the new season as guests enjoy lunch and take advantage of the opportunity to purchase pieces of Bulls’ history in a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will benefit CharitaBulls and its youth programs.

WHO:
The entire 2007.08 Chicago Bulls team, including Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, Ben Wallace, Ben Gordon and new draft pick Joakim Noah along with Scott Skiles and the rest of the Bulls coaching staff and front office.

All proceeds from the Tip-Off Luncheon will benefit CharitaBulls, the philanthropic arm of the Chicago Bulls organization. CharitaBulls was created in 1987 as a vehicle for the Bulls to help make Chicago a better place to live. CharitaBulls’ primary objective is to actively support positive educational, recreational and social opportunities for children and young people. Past beneficiaries of CharitaBulls include Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Public Library, Chicago Park District, Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago and many others.
