Bulls offer free health screening at the United Center

To educate and empower Chicagoland men and women to take charge of their health and improve their well being, the Bulls teamed up with Rush University Medical Center, Men's Health Network, Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. and the Office of Minority Health to host a free health screening at the United Center on October 15, 2010.

Beginning at 10 a.m., men and women ages 18 and older were able receive free health screenings and information on diabetes, heart disease, prostate health, osteoporosis, gout and other chronic diseases.

In addition, Rush University Medical Center health care professionals were on hand to provide counseling and information on the instant results from the screening.

Bulls’ legends Bob Love and Bill Wennington along with Benny the Bull attended the event to greet fans and take part in the screenings.

Fans participating in the screenings also had the opportunity to view and take photos of the Bulls six NBA championship trophies.
