Bulls observe MLK holiday with local children

Brewer, Love, Green and the children watched a video showcasing Dr. King’s legacy on the civil rights movement. After the video, the group discussed the importance of Dr. King’s life.

January 10, 2011 – In recognition of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, Ronnie Brewer, Bob Love and Sidney Green spent the afternoon on Sunday with local children at the North Suburban YMCA celebrating the civil rights leader’s birthday.

Beginning at 3:30 p.m., Brewer, Love, Green and the children watched a video showcasing Dr. King’s legacy on the civil rights movement. After the video, the group discussed the importance of Dr. King’s life.

At the end of the program, the players distributed certificates to all the children attending.
