Bob Love to help collect school supplies on Friday

To help collect school supplies for the Chicago Bulls and Kia Surprise School Supply Challenge, Bulls legend Bob Love will be on hand at Water Tower Place on Friday, September 17 from 3 to 4 p.m. to greet and sign autographs for fans who donate supplies.

Additionally, the first 25 fans that arrive for the appearance with a donation item will receive a special Bulls gift.

Suggested supplies include spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, pocket folders, crayons and backpacks. All donated supplies will benefit Chicago Public School students at Lathrop Academy.

In addition, now through Friday, local residents can donate school supplies to any of 20 local Kia retailers. Fans can also make a monetary donation online at Bulls.com/2010kia.

At the culmination of the school supply drive, the Bulls and Kia Motors, Official Vehicle of the Chicago Bulls, will host a rally to celebrate the beginning of the school year and donate the supplies to Lathrop Academy.
