2010 Kia Surprise School Supply Challenge
September 9, 2010 – The Chicago Bulls and Kia Motors America are pairing up with Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Kia retailers to collect school supplies to benefit Chicago Public School students at Lathrop Academy.
Now through September 17, local residents can donate school supplies to any of 20 local Kia retailers. Suggested supplies include spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, pocket folders, crayons and backpacks.
In addition, fans also can drop off supplies at Water Tower Place (835 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL) or make a monetary donation online at Bulls.com/2010kia.
At the culmination of the school supply drive, the Bulls and Kia Motors, Official Vehicle of the Chicago Bulls, will host a rally to celebrate the beginning of the school year and donate the supplies to Lathrop Academy. Bulls’ personalities will be on hand for the event.
The Chicago Bulls and Kia Surprise School Supply Challenge will provide much needed school supplies to students whose families might not have the resources to purchase them on their own. To find the nearest Kia retailer, please visit www.kia.com.
