Bulls players celebrate the holidays with local families

December 14, 2009 — The Chicago Bulls and DCFS hosted their annual holiday party for intact families on Sunday afternoon at the UIC Physical Education Building located at 901 West Roosevelt Road in Chicago.

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., the Bulls’ Joakim Noah and Jannero Pargo, along with Bob Love and Benny the Bull, were on hand for an afternoon that included lunch and the distribution of holiday gifts for each child attending the event. Entertainment from musician Isaiah Pittman V was also provided.

In their efforts to encourage families to feel uplifted during the strenuous holiday season, the Bulls and DCFS partnered with Noah, Hinckley Springs, Edy's® Grand Ice Cream, Eli's Cheesecake and Country House Restaurant to provide each family with an entertaining afternoon.

As an added bonus, Noah made a financial contribution to underwrite the cost of the event.
