December 19, 2012 -- To help spread cheer this holiday season, Carlos Boozer visited with patients and families in Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s Family Life Center before appearing as a special guest on the hospital’s own Skylight TV program “Storytime with Dot”. The show is televised via closed circuit TV to all patient rooms in the hospital. The Bulls’ Nancy Reinsdorf, Leslie Forman and Benny the Bull were also on hand for the event.

Following the appearance, Boozer visited with patients and their families in the hospital’s hematology/oncology ward, where he distributed presents including iPod shuffles and t-shirts that he purchased for the kids.

The Bulls coordinated the event as part of NBA Cares Season of Giving, a league-wide initiative that aims to brighten the holidays for thousands of children and families across the country.
