Bulls and Ronald McDonald House Charities host third annual "Bulls Spectacular" party
Team also unveils new Bulls-themed game room
March 26, 2014 -- The Chicago Bulls and Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC®-CNI) hosted the third-annual "Bulls Spectacular" party on Tuesday evening, bringing the team’s in-game entertainment experience to kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House® near Lurie Children’s.
Bulls players Carlos Boozer, Tornike Shengelia and Tony Snell, Chicago Bulls Charities President Nancy Reinsdorf, members of the Bulls Entertainment Network (BEN), Bulls Ambassadors Sidney Green and Bob Love and nearly 100 kids celebrated with a special dinner, games, a photo booth and face painter, among other activities.
As part of the celebration, the team unveiled the new Chicago Bulls Charities Game Room, located on the fourth floor. The Bulls-themed room features two televisions, two gaming systems, autographed Bulls memorabilia, a texture wall of Benny the Bull fur and a piece of the Chicago Stadium floor, among other items. The unique design was developed by the Bulls’ Creative Services team.
The Bulls have partnered with RMHC®-CNI for more than a decade on a number of initiatives, including coordinating player visits to Houses, teaming up on a United Center recycling program, and supporting their fundraising efforts through the donation of autographed items.
