Bulls visit Hines Veterans Hospital for 9/11 ceremony
Bulls' personalities spend time with veterans; participate in memorial service
September 12, 2011 — To commemorative the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the Chicago Bulls' Sidney Green, Chuck Swirsky and Mickey Johnson visited Hines Veterans Hospital on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls personalities visited with about 40 veterans in the hospital?s Spinal Cord Injury Center and then participated in a special memorial service marking the 10th anniversary of 9/11. During the ceremony, the hospital showed a special video of the National 9/11 Flag visit to Hines and recognized veterans in attendance.
