Biography
Jeff Macy begins his fifth season as the Bucks Head Strength and Conditioning coach following two-plus
years as Oregon State’s Head Strength and Conditioning coach.
A graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Macy has previously worked in the NBA as
the Chicago Bulls Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach from 2001 through 2006. Prior to joining the
Bulls staff, Macy spent time in central Illinois as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Bradley University from 1998 to 2001. He also worked at the Olympic training center in Colorado as the Assistant
Weightlifting Coach.
A two-time national weightlifting champion (1991 and 1993), Macy participated in the 1992 Olympic trials, placed 13th in the
1993 World Championships and is a former American record holder. Outside of the office, he enjoys cycling, fishing and spending
time with his family.
Macy resides in Mequon with his wife, Barb, and their children, Will (14) and Claire (10)
