Saturday is "Bucks Charity Night" at the BMO Harris Bradley Center
FOX Sports Wisconsin and Cousins Subs team up with the Bucks to assist local charities this holiday season
Many organizations across Southeastern Wisconsin are working to make a difference in people’s lives this holiday season, and the Bucks will be in the giving spirit as well on Saturday when the team hosts “Charity Night,” presented by FOX Sports Wisconsin Supports and the Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation.
With the Bucks set to battle the Charlotte Bobcats at 7:30 p.m., the first 7,500 fans through the BMO Harris Bradley Center doors will receive a “Buck” (a $1 Bucks Charity Night voucher) to donate to one of nine preselected charitable organizations. The nine Southeastern Wisconsin charities that will have a presence at Saturday’s game are: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Feeding America, Fisher House Wisconsin, Gold in September, Hunger Task Force, the Justin J. Watt Foundation, the MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund, Salvation Army and Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
The organizations will have tables set up on the 200-level concourse, and fans will have from the time doors open at 6 p.m. through the end of halftime to select an organization to help this holiday season. In addition to the $1 donations courtesy of FOX Sports Wisconsin and the Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation, fans are also encouraged to make additional personal gifts to the charities of their choosing.
FOX Sports Wisconsin, the exclusive cable and satellite partner of the Bucks, reaches more than 1.5 million homes and telecasts nearly 2,600 hours of locally-produced programming per year, including 72 regular season Bucks games in high definition. The Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation was established to improve the general welfare and quality of life in the communities Cousins Subs serves. They aim to help by providing philanthropic contributions to organizations that provide support in the three areas Cousins believes are absolutely vital to any community: health/wellness, hunger and youth education.
