TODAY'S TMJ4'S Sports Auction 4 MACC

The TODAY'S TMJ4 Sports Auction 4 MACC is Saturday, Dec. 11, from Noon - 2 p.m.  This marks the 30th consecutive year of live broadcasts by TODAY'S TMJ4. This support is unprecedented in this Milwaukee television market and in one of the nation's longest standing philanthropic efforts in the broadcast industry.

The 14th annual auction promises many unique sports items fit for any fan. TODAY'S TMJ4 News' Mike Jacobs and Carole Meekins will host the live production again with Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jonathan Green acting as the show's professional auctioneer. Jonathan will be retiring from the radio station on December 17 after an illustrious broadcasting career spanning four decades. The MACC Fund thanks Jonathan for all of his efforts to help the MACC Fund fight childhood cancer over the past three decades. Lance Allan of the TODAY'S TMJ4 Sports Team will once again add great insights into the myriad of items as the Sports Auction's "color commentator."

The auction will feature items from the Bucks, Brewers, Packers, Admirals, Marquette, Wisconsin, and the Wave.  Also available for bids will be signature items from sports personalities including Aaron Rodgers, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Robin Yount, Andrew Bogut, Brandon Jennings, Donald Driver, Clay Matthews, Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun and others. There's even a picture signed by Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle while at the 1962 World Series where "Joltin' Joe" was an honorary captain for the American League while "The Mick" was in his hey day.

Bidders will even be able to bid on Midwest Airlines' famous leather seats used on the Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers charter flights along with a Frontier Airlines Gift Card.

The auction boards are sponsored by Trek Bicycle Company, West Bend Insurance - "The Silver Lining," the Balistreri Sendik's Food Markets, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Sargento Foods. This year marks the 29th consecutive year of Sargento's support through the TODAY'S TMJ4 broadcasts benefiting the MACC Fund. TODAY'S TMJ4 started its broadcasts in 1981. Each board has a "2-minute warning" countdown clock sponsored by Pepsi, the Milwaukee Bucks, Aaron Rodgers, ADAMM (Automobile Dealers Association of Mega-Milwaukee) and Chili's Restaurants of Wisconsin.

The MACC Fund is grateful to TODAY'S TMJ4 for helping the children with cancer and blood disorders for the 30th straight year!
