Bucks set to tee off in annual golf tournament
19th Annual Milwaukee Bucks Golf Tournament Benefits Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The 19th Annual Milwaukee Bucks Golf Tournament to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation tees off on Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Ozaukee Country Club (10823 North River Road, Mequon). Head Coach Scott Skiles, General Manager John Hammond and the Bucks basketball coaches and staff, along with current and former Bucks players, will be attending and many of them will be golfing to raise funds for an important cause. The Bucks and CF have raised well over $900,000 as a result of past events.
Several members of the current Bucks roster are scheduled to attend, as well as Bucks alumni Lucius Allen, Lenny Chappell, Bobby Dandridge, Eddie Doucette, Dick Garrett, Bob Lanier, Sidney Moncrief, Fred Roberts, Sam Williams and Brian Winters. The Bucks television broadcasting team of Jon McGlocklin and Jim Paschke, radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis and radio color analyst Dennis Krause will also participate in the tournament.
The event begins with check-in and lunch at 10:30 a.m. A shotgun start is scheduled at noon. Dinner and a benefit auction will follow the golf tournament.
