Bucks Announce Changes to Upcoming Radio and TV Broadcast Schedule
Conflicting Games Moved to WSSP 1250 AM and FOX Sports Wisconsin’s Alternate Channel
The Milwaukee Bucks today announced a series of changes to the upcoming broadcast schedule as a result of conflicts on their flagship stations, FOX Sports Wisconsin (FS Wisconsin) and Newsradio 620 WTMJ. All remaining regular season Bucks games will still feature live broadcasts on both TV and radio, with the six conflicting games moved to WSSP 1250 AM and FS Wisconsin’s alternate channel.
The FS Wisconsin alternate channel is used by FS Wisconsin to simultaneously show multiple live events. As the exclusive local television partner of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Brewers, FS Wisconsin televises hundreds of live events annually. With two teams and just one channel, scheduling conflicts are inevitable. The FS Wisconsin alternate channel offers a solution.
The FS Wisconsin alternate channel is available to all cable and satellite providers that carry FS Wisconsin. The first Bucks games on the alternate channel (4/9 vs. OKC) will air on channels 310 (SD) or 1310 (HD) for Time Warner customers, channel 323 for Charter Communications customers, channels 658 (SD) or 658-1 (HD) on DirecTV and channels 444 (SD) or 9514 (HD) on Dish Network. Channel listings for the remaining alternate channel games will be available on bucks.com or http://www.foxsportswisconsin.com/pages/fswisconsin_alt/ prior to the game.
