Work Hard, Play Hard at Bucks Summer Basketball Camps

03/08/2011

Summer is right around the corner, which means it’s time to sign up for the Bucks Summer Basketball Camps which take place at various locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Boys and girls from 2nd-8th grade are eligible to participate in the camps where they will learn basketball basics such as shooting, ball-handling, passing and rebounding and put their skills to the test in games and shooting contests against other players of similar age and skill level.

The summer camp session officially kicks off June 20-23 at the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA in Manitowoc, WI and at Christ Child Academy in Sheboygan. There will also be Bucks Summer Camps at St. Mary Parish School in Menomonee Falls (June 27-30), St. Paul’s School in Oconomowoc (June 27-30), Nicolet High School in Glendale (July 18-21), Hales Corners Lutheran School (July 18-21), the Milwaukee Bucks Training Center (July 25-28), Gifford Elementary in Racine (August 1-4), St. Joseph High School in Kenosha (August 1-4), Holy Angels School in West Bend (August 8-11) and Trinity Lutheran School in Waukesha (August 8-11).

The Milwaukee Bucks Camp program was re-launched during the summer of 2009 and is under the direction of Coach Aaron Sovern. All campers who attend the Bucks Summer Basketball Camps will receive a Bucks practice jersey, two free ticket vouchers to a 2011-12 Bucks home game, prizes, an online photo with Camp Team and Coach and special Bucks offers for the 2011-12 season.
