Jim Paschke talks with Bucks coach Jim Boylan and rookie John Henson about Henson's Summer League debut
The Washington Wizards erased a 16-point third-quarter deficit to beat the Milwaukee Bucks (78-75) in game one of day six of the NBA Summer League in Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
The Bucks were led by Tobias Harris with a game high 24 points and a game high 12 rebounds while John Henson chipped in 20 points and Doron Lamb added 12. The Wizards offensive effort included four players in double-figures, Bradley Beal with 18, Shavlik Randolph and Shelvin Mack each with 11 and Chris Singleton with 10.

Jim Paschke caught up with Japanese National Team assistant Tomoya Higashino who is with the Bucks in Las Vegas for Summer League.

That is precisely what John Hammond did after climbing into his vehicle on the night of June 28 following the 2012 National Basketball Association Draft.
He had been there and done that numerous times during his seven seasons as vice president of basketball operations with the Detroit Pistons and in his four previous drafts as general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks.
This time, though, Hammond sensed something different.
