Three weeks ago, Twitter released a new video app called Vine that allows you to share 6 seconds of looping video. Eager to have another tool to take you behind the scenes with the Bucks at the corner of 4th and State, we jumped right in.
Eddie Doucette, the Original Voice of the Milwaukee Bucks, Named Recipient of the Basketball Hall of Fame's Curt Gowdy Media Award
Eddie Doucette, the original voice of the Milwaukee Bucks and a legendary broadcaster with over 30 years of experience calling NBA action, was named today as the recipient of the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Curt Gowdy Media Award in the Electronic Media category. Longtime NBA writer John Feinstein was also honored in the Print Media category. Doucette and Feinstein will be acknowledged for their contribution to basketball during the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement events on September 7-8, 2013, in Springfield, Mass.
With tonight's season impacting implications, I began to wonder what it takes a professional athlete to get warmed up and in the mindset for the competition at the highest of levels. I can only assume it would be a little more intensive than what I used to do for my 7th grade basketball games (I would listen to the Beach Boys on the way to the game because it was the only CD my mom would play). But then there are games where I don't believe an athlete needs to look outside a whole lot for self-motivation. Tonight is one of those games.
