BUCK SHOTS

Despite tonight’s contest being Milwaukee’s first road game in 11 days, their 19th road tilt tonight ranks them second in the league to their travel partner in China this preseason, Golden State (20).

Milwaukee’s seven wins thus far in December are the most they’ve had in month since going 7-10 in January of 2008. The last time they topped seven wins in a month was December of 2006 (11-6).

Over each NBA club’s last five games, the Bucks are second in the league by allowing 86.4 points to their foes. Orlando leads everyone with 84.8 and a +18.2 differential. Milwaukee’s +10.0 is tied for third.

Michael Redd is closing in on two milestones, the 5th spot on the Bucks scoring list and 11,000 career points. Redd (10,911) needs 70 points to pass Marques Johnson’s 10,980 and 89 to reach the 11,000 point barrier.

The Bucks are currently 2-1 in a stretch where they play seven out of 10 tilts at home.

Bucks guard Ramon Sessions is 20th in the NBA with a 2.65:1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Luke Ridnour has shot 54.0 percent (30-56) from the floor over his last seven games… Over his last four he’s handed out 30 assists against six turnovers (5.00:1 assist-to-turnover ratio).

Bucks rookie Joe Alexander has announced his candidacy for the 2009 Slam Dunk Contest. Please visit SeeJoeDunk.com for details on his platform.
