BUCK SHOTS

Milwaukee takes its 2-0 record in the second game of back-to-backs into tonight’s game against Phoenix. It’s the back end of the first of five consecutive back-to-backs for the Bucks that will take them through November 22. Their opponents in the first four games are a combined 13-9.

Over their last three games the Bucks have held their opponents to 42.9 percent shooting (102-238).

The Bucks are in the third game of a nine game stretch where eight of their opponents were in the 2008 NBA
Playoffs. Thus far Milwaukee has gone 1-1 against those foes.

Bucks 2008 first round pick Joe Alexander scored the first points of his NBA career as he knocked down a
three pointer against the Celtics on Friday.

The Bucks are currently ranked 2nd in the NBA in forcing their opponents into 18.7 turnovers per contest.
They’ve capitalized on those turnovers – scoring 21.3 points per game off the miscues. That puts Milwaukee
2nd in the league in points off turnovers.

Milwaukee is 5th in the NBA with 22.8 assists per game.

Congratulations to Mark Hutchinson of Community Newspapers, a frequent media member at Bucks games, who will be inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame as a recipient of the organization’s Citation Award for his work in the media over the years.
