BUCK SHOTS

On Tuesday the Bucks requested waivers on Austin Croshere who appeared in 11 games with Milwaukee.

On the Milestone front, Michael Redd reached another when he connected on his 950th career three pointer on Monday night. Among several other categories that Redd is climbing in Bucks history, he is currently at 952 threes, 100 shy of passing Ray Allen (951) for first place in franchise history.

The Bucks lead the NBA by forcing 16.4 TOs each night. The numbers have increased as the season has gone on - they forced 15.6 in Oct/Nov, 16.8 in Dec and are currently forcing 19.0 through three Jan games.

Milwaukee has won the battle on second chance points in each of their three games in January. This month they’re tallying 18.0 a night on second chances compared to 14.0 for their opponents.

Cha-Cha-Ra (Bell, Villanueva and Sessions) combined for 47 points, 19-37 FG (51.0%), 5-11 3FG (45.0%), 14 assists, 9 rebounds and 3 steals in reserve in Milwaukee’s win on Monday.

The Bucks play a league-high 18 games in January, nine at home and nine on the road (both are tied for second-highest for the month). They’re the only club in the league not to have consecutive days off this month and they’re tied for the league lead with five sets of back-to-backs. Of their league-low 13 days off, nine will involve travel in some way.

Milwaukee’s bench has been outscored in just one of the team’s last six games.
