Milwaukee trails 87-88

The Bucks have won the last three meetings of this series dating back to the 2007-08 season and now trail the all-time series by just one game at 87-88. Going back to 2002-03 Milwaukee is 14-10 against New York.

Milwaukee’s best two defensive performances, in terms of opponents field goal percentage, have come against New York. In the first meeting the Knicks shot 37.0 percent (30-81) and in the second contest they shot 34.4 (31-90). In those two games New York has averaged 86.5 points on 35.7 shooting (61-171) while hitting 28.8 percent from three (19-66). David Lee (7-12, 50.8) is the only player making more than half of his shots for the Knicks in those tilts.

The Knicks will be returning home to face the Bucks after a five-game West Coast road trip. Going back a few more games, it will end a stretch where New York played seven of eight games on the road. The ended up 3-5 in that string.
