BUCK SHOTS

Fresh off of their first back-to-back set of the 2008-09 season (one win and one loss), the Bucks close their second back-to-back set with this evening’s game in New York. Milwaukee plays 19 of their games (23 percent of their schedule) by the end of November and 16 of them are part of back-to-backs. See the stat box to the right for Milwaukee’s numbers in back-to-backs.

The Bucks are 29-12 in their home opener after the Toronto Raptors snapped Milwaukee’s five-game home opener winning streak on Saturday night.

Charlie Bell tied Mo Williams for fifth place in Bucks history with his 273rd three pointer in a Bucks uniform on Wednesday night. Bell’s next three pointer will give him sole possession of fifth place and makes Tim Thomas the next player ahead (in fourth place) with 425 threes.

This evening’s game is Milwaukee’s first of four Sunday contests. In 2007-08 the Bucks played seven Sunday games and went 2-5 (1-1 at home and 1-4 on the road).

The Bucks will try to reverse recent trends against Atlantic Division foes tonight. Milwaukee was 3-15 against the division in 2007-08 and they dropped their first contest of the season against an Atlantic Division opponent on Saturday (87-31 against Toronto).
