BUCK SHOTS
At the end of this string of six games out of seven on the road (currently 0-2), the Bucks will have played 18 of their first 28 games on the road. This is the first time in franchise history they’ve played as many as 18 out of their first 28 on the road. They’re the only team in the NBA to have that heavy of a road schedule through 28 games this year. More on Milwaukee’s travels on the second page of Bucks notes.
The Bucks tallied their highest point total in a half with 64 through the first 24 minutes at Phoenix on Wed.
Milwaukee meets up with the Golden State, their travel partners on the preseason trip to China. Like the
Bucks, Golden State has continued to rack up frequent flyer miles after the long preseason trip. The Bucks
lead the league with 18 of their first 29 on the road, but the Warriors are right behind them with 18 of their
first 29 on the road.
The Bucks close out their ninth back-to-back set of the season tonight. Milwaukee is tied for the league lead
with 22 back-to-backs this season. Chicago, Memphis and Sacramento also play 22 back-to-backs while
Golden State plays the fewest with 15.
Luke Ridnour has 3,488 career points and needs just 12 to reach the 3,500 mark. Entering tonight’s contest,
Ridnour has appeared in 382 games.
Richard Jefferson is 21st in minutes per game, but because he has played in all 23 of Milwaukee’s games, he
leads the NBA with 855 minutes played.
On Wednesday the Bucks allowed season highs in points (125), points in a half (74), points in a quarter (38),
field goals (44), field goal percentage (.587) and three field goal percentage (.571).
The Bucks loss to the Suns on Wednesday was their 21st in a row in Phoenix.
