MILWAUKEE -- On Wednesday, May 7, Milwaukee Bucks guard Mo Williams had successful surgery to repair ligament damage in his right thumb, General Manager John Hammond announced today.
The surgery was performed by hand specialist Dr. Michelle Carlson, M.D., at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Williams will be sidelined for approximately six weeks after which time he will begin basketball-related activity with a splint. He is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for training camp in October.
