Although one election cycle has passed, the NBA’s All-Star Game voting begins this week, as fans all over the Great State of Wisconsin will find four Milwaukee Bucks players on the 2008 NBA All-Star Game ballot.

Andrew Bogut, Richard Jefferson, Michael Redd and Luke Ridnour will represent the Bucks on the 2009 NBA All-Star Ballot. Bucks fans can vote at the Bradley Center starting at Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics, but balloting nationally begins Thursday, November 13. Fans around the globe can vote for their starter selections for the 58th NBA All-Star Game, to be held at US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ, on Sunday, February 15, 2009. A special tip-off event was held in Phoenix this afternoon to unveil the ballots.

Voting runs from November 13 through January 11 for paper ballots; voting at NBA.com continues through January 19. Bucks fans will be eligible to vote early and often at every home game through January 9 at “All-Star Alley” in the Bradley Center. Any fan filling out 50 ballots will get the chance to spin the Bucks prize wheel to earn a gift. Fans filling out 100 ballots can spin the prize wheel and be entered into a drawing to win Bucks tickets.

Fans nationally have the opportunity to vote at all NBA arenas, in 20 languages at NBA.com, at more than 1,500 T-Mobile-owned retail locations and at t-zones on T-Mobile phones or wap.nba.com for any wireless carrier. Fans can vote for their favorites on the ballot or write in their votes (for two guards, two forwards and one center from each conference) if some of their favorites have been omitted from the list.

A total of 120 players – 60 each from the Eastern and Western Conferences – are listed on the NBA All-Star ballot, with 24 guards, 24 forwards and 12 centers from each conference comprising the list. The 120 players on the ballot were selected by a panel of media experts who regularly cover the NBA.
