MILWAUKEE -- Seven games of the Milwaukee Bucks eight-game preseason schedule will be broadcast on both WTMJ and WSSP Radio as well as on the Bucks Statewide Radio Network, the team announced today. WTMJ Radio will broadcast three preseason games, while WSSP Radio will broadcast four.
Entering his 11th year in Milwaukee, play-by-play “Voice of the Bucks” Ted Davis calls the action beginning with the October 9 preseason opener (which will air on WSSP Radio) against the Chicago Bulls at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, WI. Tickets for this game can be purchased at the La Crosse Center Box Office, at Ticketmaster.com or by calling (608) 789-4545.
The preseason broadcast schedule resumes on WTMJ Radio, Saturday, October 13 when the Bucks welcome the Utah Jazz to the Bradley Center. Tickets for all Bucks home preseason games are still available and can be purchased by visiting the Bradley Center Box Office (open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday), by calling TicketMaster (1-800-4NBA-TIX) or by visiting Bucks.com.
On October 16 the Bucks will visit the Resch Center in Green Bay for the second consecutive year to face the Denver Nuggets. This game will be broadcast on WSSP Radio. Tickets for that game can be purchased by visiting the Resch Center Box Office, TicketStarOnline.com or by calling (800) 895-0071.
The Bucks will wrap up their preseason at home with the 31st Annual MACC Fund Game on October 20 vs. Minnesota on WTMJ Radio. The MACC Fund Game is the cornerstone event of the Bucks 31-year commitment to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer. Since the inaugural event in 1977, the annual MACC Fund Game has raised more than $1 million dollars for children’s cancer research at the Midwest Children’s Cancer Center in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee concludes their preseason radio broadcast schedule with three games on the road. Two games will be aired on WSSP Radio (October 23 at Denver and October 25 at Chicago), with their final game on WTMJ Radio (October 26 at Minnesota).
