Bucks Hire Dwayne Wilson As Equipment Manager

JUNE 13, 2005 - The Milwaukee Bucks have hired Dwayne Wilson as the team’s Equipment Manager, General Manager Larry Harris announced today. Wilson comes to the Bucks with six years of NBA experience with the Dallas Mavericks.

“We’re excited to bring Dwayne on board,” said Harris. “He did a tremendous job in his years with the Dallas Mavericks and we look forward to having him continue his NBA career with us. He’ll be a great asset to our players, coaches and basketball staff.”

Originally hired by the Dallas Mavericks as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 1998, Wilson added the title of Equipment Manager in 1999. He served as both until the summer of 2004 and spent the past year working with Velocity Sports Performance in Texas, an organization that specializes in helping adults attain their general fitness goals.

Wilson is a 1988 graduate of the University of North Texas.
