MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks season-long celebration of their 40th Anniversary season continues this Friday night, March 28, at the Bradley Center when the Bucks officially honor the 20 greatest players in franchise history, as selected by the fans. A special ceremony will take place at halftime, featuring individual recognition of each of the 20 members, as well as the re-dedication of Oscar Robertson’s #1 jersey banner.

The following 10 former Bucks are scheduled to attend Friday’s game vs. the Orlando Magic: Vin Baker, Junior Bridgeman, Terry Cummings, Bob Dandridge, Marques Johnson, Jon McGlocklin, Ricky Pierce, Oscar Robertson, Glenn Robinson, and Brian Winters. Current Buck Michael Redd was also selected to the 40th Anniversary Team and will take part in the halftime ceremony.

Former Bucks Ray Allen and Sam Cassell – both of whom were selected to the team but are unable to attend due to an NBA game with their current team – taped video messages for fans that will be shown during the second quarter.

Milwaukee’s original radio play-by-play announcer, Eddie Doucette, will join current TV play-by-play man Jim Paschke as an honorary emcee for the halftime production. Doucette will also introduce Milwaukee’s starting five during team introductions prior to tip-off.

All fans with a ticket to Friday’s game will receive a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar bobble head doll. Several of the former players in attendance are expected to be available for autographs from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Bradley Center concourse.

Select tickets are still available for Friday’s game and can be purchased by calling (414) 227-0500, 1-800-4-NBATIX, by visiting Bucks.com or the Bradley Center Box Office.

The Bucks will continue their celebration of their 40th Anniversary season on April 4 when they re-dedicate Jon McGlocklin’s #14 jersey banner. McGlocklin’s ceremony will be the final one of the season. Five of the retired jersey banners were re-dedicated earlier this season and, as mentioned above, Oscar Robertson’s will be re-dedicated this Friday.
