Giannis Antetokounmpo's Interview with Greece's Sport24

Bucks rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo sat down with Greece's Sport24 to talk about his new hometown, the NBA and his expectations of the season. (Link to Greek version of this interview)

Sport24: Do you think that you will have many chances in the NBA? How are things over there?

Giannis: I believe that the team is trying to invest in my talent. I hope to prove to my coach that I can play.

What is your trick to became so tall?

I eat all my food and sleep a lot. I also drink a lot of milk...

What kind of music do you prefer?

"I like hip-hop and rock music"

Do you feel ready for the NBA

"Yes, I am ready"

How do you feel about the draft and the NBA? What are your plans about the future? And also which greek club do you support?

I am excited for the draft and the NBA. I am thrilled to play in the best league in the world. I hope to play in the NBA for many seasons, establish my position and win titles. As for the team I support? I am rooting for Filathlitikos Zografou.

Is there a game that you feel eager to play?

I am looking forward to play against the Heat, the Thunder and the Lakers.

Which is the best player in the NBA right now? And which is your favorite?

The best player is LeBron James. My favorite ones are Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant.

Who are the best five player in the history of the NBA in your opinion?

Jordan (for sure), Magic, Shaquille, LeBron and Kobe.

Do you want to play in the Greek National Team?

Of course! As soon as they call me, I will be there

Have the Bucks told you to bulk up? In which position you will be playing? Do you like the States?

"There are going to help me work on my body and get bigger. It's a slow process. I think that I will be playing in the "3" spot.

Which elemenent in your game you have to work on?

"There is not only one element. I want to become one of the best players, so if you want to be one the best, you have to elevate all aspects of your game.

Which NBA player would you like to resemble?

A mix of LeBron James and Kevin Durant. I think I am not the only one.
