On tonight's game ...
"I don't want to take anything away from them but we started the second half a little bit slower offensively. In five possessions we had four turnovers and it hurt us. I wouldn't say they were forced, I thought we just made some questionable decisions and we got a little bit tentative after that. We still hung in there but they kind of took it over mentally at that point in the game."
On the Spurs guarding Andrew Bogut ...
"They doubled him some. I thought he made some nice passes out of there to the weak side, we just didn't get anything out of it. We're trying to go to him, he had trouble getting the ball, but once he got it they did a pretty nice job doubling him."
On Matt Bonner ...
"We know, nothing against Matt, we're Matt Bonner fans, but we know he's going to pump-fake and go right. He pump-faked and went right over, and over, and over again. We were just closing out, letting him go right and he made us pay for it."

"He plays with good players. They've got Manu (Ginobili), they've got Tim Duncan and Tony Parker making plays out there. He was getting wide-open looks and he's doing a good job. He's used to getting those shots, he knows the system, and he's been doing a really good job at it for years."
On how the Spurs rank around the league...
"They're up there. You're talking about Miami, Boston, and about three or four teams out there, the Lakers, that you can put in that category. To say they're the best team I don't know, but they're definitely one of the top teams."

"San Antonio, they're one of the few teams that no matter what, they don't have the peaks and valleys. They just play consistent basketball for 48 minutes and tonight we didn't do that."
On tonight's game ...
"We weren't able to get the stops, every time down the court you're going against a half-court set, and it's tough to score. They're one of the best half-court defensive teams in the league."
- After one quarter, the Bucks led 26-21. They were able to jump out to an early lead thanks to a fast start from Andrew Bogut. Through one quarter he had seven points (on 3-4 shooting) and eight rebounds (including four offensive rebounds). As a team, the Bucks had six offensive rebounds in the quarter.
- After going ahead of the Spurs 32-23 at the 9:50 mark in the second quarter, San Antonio went on a 9-0 run (including seven from Manu Ginobili) to tie the game at 32.
- At halftime the Bucks led the Spurs 51-43. The lead was attributed to the Bucks effectiveness on the offensive glass. Milwaukee was able to grab nine offensive rebounds and turn those into 13 second chance points. Through two quarters, Bogut led all scorers with 13 points and 10 rebounds (his 13th double/double of the season).
- Chris Douglas-Roberts came into tonight's game averaging 27.0 points in his last two games. He finished the game with zero points and was 0-2 from the field
- Through three quarters, the Spurs were able to cut into the Bucks halftime lead and trailed only by one 66-65. San Antonio turned up the defensive pressure in the quarter allowing the Bucks to convert only four field goals (4-17, 23.5 percent) and allowed a total of 15 points compared to their 22.
- Trailing 81-72 with less than five minutes remaining in the game, the Bucks went on an 8-0 run in two minutes to cut San Antonio's lead to one with 2:48 left in the game.
- San Antonio's defense was the deciding factor in tonight's game beating the Bucks 91-84. After allowing 51 first half points they stepped up their defensive effort and allowed only 34 points in the second half (a season low for a Spurs opponent).
- With the Spurs win tonight they sweep the season series and have now won four straight against Milwaukee. In the first matchup this season Manu Ginobili hit a game winning 17-foot fade away jump shot as time expired to win 92-90.
- John Salmons finished tonight's game with 17 points (6-13 from the field). This was his 12th consecutive game scoring in double figures and is now shooting 25-47 from 3-point range in those games.
- Andrew Bogut was kept in check during the second half scoring only two points and grabbing four rebounds after having 13 points and 10 rebounds through two quarters. The Bucks as a team didn't have much success in the paint in the second half, being held to 12 points on 6-16 shooting.
- Drew Gooden played tonight for the first time since December 20. He missed the previous nine games with left foot plantar fasciitis. He finished with eight points and three rebounds
