Head Coach Scott Skiles On Brandon Jennings' career night...
"I was in a game when Michael (Jordan) had over sixty once. I don't know exactly what to say. On a night where we didn't play very well; we weren't ready defensively. He (Jennings) felt we needed to be picked up and we went to our pick-and-roll game and spread the floor and he got hot, again. He had 55 in three quarters; he didn't score in the first quarter. A very impressive performance for anybody, let alone a rookie in his seventh game."
On tonight's game...
"They are very difficult to get a handle on. When we went into halftime and looked at (video) clips, it was more our doing than theirs. I don't want to sell their players short but we just didn't come out with the necessary defensive intensity. They did a lot of switching on defense and we had trouble handling the ball and so we just simplified it and gave the ball the Brandon (Jennings) and let him go to work."
On Brandon Jennings...
"He doesn't force it normally, especially considering he's a rookie. It's hard to say this when he has 29 points in a quarter but it's not greedy. He's open and he's knocking down shots. He hit three or four in a row and yet he came off and they helped and he directed Charlie Bell in the corner. He's still out there playing basketball and trying to help us win the game."
Guard Brandon Jennings On the second half...
"The Warriors kept going under the screens and in the first half I wasn't taking advantage of it. In the second half I thought if they were going to keep going under screens I am just going to shoot it until it goes into the basket and luckily I hit the first two and it seemed like the rim kept getting bigger and bigger and I couldn't miss."
On tonight's game...
"Charlie Bell hit some big threes and (Andrew) Bogut is going to do his thing. I think everybody came out and contributed tonight. We played kind of bad in the first half so for us to come back out in the second half and get a big lead, it would have been a shame to lose that game."
On his confidence level...
"My confidence level is like when I was at Oak Hill my senior year. I was putting up all those big numbers, not as far as scoring but just playing and being comfortable out there."
Center Andrew Bogut On the pick-and-roll game with Brandon Jennings...
"I don't think we were working the roll game, I think we were just working the pick game. He was doing a hell of a job shooting the ball and when he gets that hot there's not much more you want to do than to get him open. He got us back in that game and hit some crucial shots."
On the final minutes of the game...
"It was still a bit too close for comfort for us. We need to work on holding leads and not starting so poorly. They are a tough team; they are not really structured defensively they just kind of switch everything and it's tough to play against teams like that. We did a good job tonight just to get the win."
