Head Coach Scott Skiles
On tonight’s game…
“For the most part it was a very aggressive game. They’re very aggressive offensively. They drive it and they’re physical. After the first quarter we did a great job defending them. We held our own.”

On Brandon Jennings…
“This was different than the games he has played so far because of the way Denver offensively puts the pressure on you. Every one of those guys can drive, they can shoot the ball, the second you relax their experience takes over.”

On Ersan Illyasova…
“I thought Ersan (Ilyasova) was great. I think he’s settling in and figuring out everything we want done out there. He came in, got the hot hand when we were having trouble making shots. He picked us up.”

Guard Charlie Bell
On tonight’s game…
“This might have been one of the most talented teams we played this season, a team that was in the Western Conference Finals last year and gave (Los Angeles Lakers) all they could handle. He (Carmelo Anthony) was a handful tonight and we did the best we could just making it tough for him.”

On Ersan llysova…
“It’s huge. We all know what he can do as far as in practice, we know he can shoot the ball. Playing in Europe a lot of players don’t know his game. He’s a wild card for you, he can come in and teams don’t know him. If you don’t get a hand up he’s going to make you pay.”

Guard Brandon Jennings
On tonight’s game…
“We played a hell of a game tonight, I think everybody came out and contributed. The third quarter was a big quarter for us, we wanted to win that quarter. They came back a little bit, (which we knew they would) it’s Denver, but we held them at the end.”

On the final minutes of the game…
“There were a couple of key turnovers from me but luckily they missed some shots. I didn’t get some of the calls but I’m a rookie so sometimes that happens. It was all good though.”
