The Milwaukee Bucks teamed up with Komen Southeast Wisconsin & Columbia St. Mary’s on Friday, February 17, 2012 to give area bowlers an opportunity to play the game for a great cause.
The event helped raise funds to promote breast cancer research, awareness, education and treatment.
The tournament, which drew over 700 bowlers brought in over $44,000! Bringing the Bucks Bowl for the Cure four year total to over $107,000.
Cost was $30 fee per bowl and each participant received two games, with the second game being 9-pin tap.
Participants also received two upper level tickets for the “Bowl for the Cure® Night with the Bucks” basketball game against Washington, a 2012 “Bowl for the Cure®” t-shirt, and a gift bag. Be sure to look for this event next year!
