Matt Gatens

Matt Gatens – Iowa – Senior
6/13/89 -- 6’5” – 212 lbs – Guard

  • Finished his career ranked sixth in Iowa scoring (1,635), and second in 3-pointers made (239) and attempted (652).
  • Voted Second Team All-Big Ten in 2012, was a 2010 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, and a member of the 2009 Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
  • Two-time team co-captain (2010-12) and Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2010 and 2012).
  • Represented the United States on the East Coast All-Star Team that competed in Tallinn, Estonia in August 2011 and averaged 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds with them.

Augustus Gilchrist

Augustus Gilchrist – South Florida – Senior
10/15/89 -- 6’10” – 241 lbs – Forward

  • Following senior season at USF, earned Portsmouth Invitational All-Tournament team honors after averaging 13.0 points and 16.7 rebounds in three games.
  • Originally an early entry candidate for the 2011 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.
  • Helped South Florida reach the third round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament for the first time ever.

John Henson

John Henson – North Carolina – Junior
12/28/90 -- 6’11” – 220 lbs – Forward

  • Two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year (2011, 2012).
  • First-Team All-ACC as a junior, leading the ACC in shot-blocking and rebounding.
  • UNC’s all-time leader in blocks per game (2.56 – 12th in ACC history) and second in total swats (279 – 11th in ACC) behind Brendan Haywood.
  • Registered double-doubles in 27 of his last 45 games.
  • Played in the 2009 McDonald's and Jordan All-America games and Nike Hoop Summit.

Zane Johnson

Zane Johnson – Hawai’i – Senior
8/1/89 -- 6’6” – 210 lbs – Guard

  • As a senior, was a team tri-captain and named honorable mention all-WAC for the second straight year.
  • Also led the team in three-pointers (82), free throw percentage (.841) and minutes (34.3 mpg) his senior season, and led the WAC and was 21st in the NCAA in three-pointers per game (2.83).
  • Transferred to Hawai’I from the University of Arizona prior to his junior year and was named all-WAC honorable mention and to the all-newcomer team.

Rob Jones

Rob Jones – Saint Mary’s – Senior
1/22/89 -- 6’6” – 240 lbs – Forward

  • As a senior, led the WCC and ranked seventh nationally in rebounds per game with a 10.8 average; was fifth nationally in double-doubles with 20 on the season and fifth in the WCC in scoring with 15.0 points per game.
  • Two-time first-team all-WCC selection (2010-11 and 11-12).
  • Began his college career at San Diego, but then transferred to Diablo Valley College, where he did not compete in basketball, before landing at St. Mary’s for his junior and senior years.

Garrett Stutz

Garrett Stutz – Wichita State – Senior
2/10/90 -- 7’0” – 255 lbs – Center

  • Earned First Team All-MVC honors as a senior.
  • One of 41 players in school history to finish with over 1,000 career points.
  • Named to MVC's All-Bench Team as a junior and sophomore.
