  • Named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 23, 2013, and named preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year
  • Memphis won three straight C-USA Tournament titles (2011-2013) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament all three seasons Black played for the Tigers
  • Field goal percentage of .605 at Memphis is No. 4 on the school’s all-time list

  • Recipient of the American Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Award as a senior and also was a unanimous All-AAC First Team selection
  • Garnered All-Big East Second Team honors in 2012 and 2013 and earned a spot on the 2011 Big East All-Rookie Team

  • After his senior year, ranked seventh in the conference in free throw percentage (80.2%), and 11th in both assists per game (3.2) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3)
  • As a junior, averaged 14.3 points (2nd SMU, 15th C-USA) and 4.3 assists (1st SMU, 7th C-USA) in 35.9 minutes (1st SMU, 2nd C-USA) and scored in double figures in all but five games
  • Did not play in 2011-12 after transferring to SMU from Kansas State
  • Played in 46 games for Kansas State over his first two college seasons with 14 starts coming his sophomore year
