Postgame News and Notes
Devin Harris made his presence felt tonight in his Nets debut, scoring 21 points off the Nets bench in 20:55 minutes action… Harris’ 21 points were the most points in a Nets debut since Vince Carter had 23 points in his first game as a Net at Detroit on 12/27/04.
The Nets were an offensive juggernaut tonight, scoring a season high 120 points… the Nets 120 points was their highest offensive output in a regulation game since they recorded a 122-101 victory at New York on 3/28/03 … the Nets also set season highs for points in a half (68) and points after three quarters (91).
The Nets scored 120 points tonight, marking the fourth time in the last five games that they have scored at least 100 points, and the sixth time in the last nine games that the Nets have reached the century mark… the Nets are now 15-7 on the year when they score more than 100 points.
After averaging only 13.5 points over the last two games the Nets bench exploded for a season high 49 points tonight.
With their 120-106 win over the Bucks tonight the Nets have now won eight of their last nine against the Bucks and assured themselves of winning the season series against the Bucks for the third straight season.

Larry Krystkowiak
(On the game)
“Initially Devin Harris was 6-of-6, he hit a couple of jumpers. That was kind of the game plan. We over extended a little bit, changed our pick and roll coverage and he split us. That’s what he does really well and got to the rim for a few layups. I thought the first half, anytime you give up 64% you don’t have much of a chance. Offensively I was happy. The fact that the bottom of the stat sheet at the end of the game, it says memo, season high in points for the Nets, with a new point guard. That doesn’t bode well for our defense, although we did hold them to 38% or something in the second half. We just have to guard better. That’s what it boils down to.”
Michael Redd
On Tonight’s Game
“They did a good job of spreading us out and knocking down threes. That was the key to the game along with rebounding. We knew that they have been playing well, so we knew that they had been hot. You have to give them credit, they came out and played well tonight.”
On Devin Harris
“He played really well tonight. He was aggressive, played relaxed, came out and played well out there.”
On Tonight’s Game
“You can’t get too high, and you can’t get too low. As great as the other night was, you come back and you lose tonight. You just have to go back and rebuild and get ready for Saturday against San Antonio.”
On Losing to a Team with a Sub-.500 record
“Every loss hurts. Losing to Detroit hurts just as bad as a loss like tonight. We’ve had a few wins lately. We are 3-2 since the break and we are going to just focus on the next game. That is all we can do right now.”
