Larry Krystkowiak

“There’s a reason they’ve got the best record in the league. They play together. They play really hard. They’ve got some hunger on the other side and we had our hands full. They’re at a time in the season where some teams have shut it down to rest everybody. I think it’s pretty impressive even they’re going limited minutes that they’re not really upsetting the flow of the game. They come at you with a lot of different pieces.”

On Ramon Sessions: “He did do a nice job, especially in light of the fact that we shot under 40%, and we had a hard time scoring. He had 14 assists, 8 in the first half. He’s got a knack for getting the ball to open people. I think he did a pretty good job on the pick and roll, for the most part. But, you know, we just ran out of bodies, but you look down our bench, I thought Jake, Danny, Ivy, Ivy got poked in the eye, Ruffin sprained an ankle, Avy’s hand’s all swollen up. So we’ve got some guys laying it on the line late in the season and we kept it pretty respectable in the second half, in fact we won the second half so I know there’s no consolation prizes at this point in the season, but we didn’t lay it down and the guys kept competing.”

“I know that he’s very well respected around the league. He’s done a nice job in Detroit, and has been a candidate who’s name has come up a number of times. People around the league have wanted him to run their operations. So I think we’re fortunate in Milwaukee to have him in place. I think we all want to get this thing turned around. That’s the important thing. We’ve got somebody who’s leading the ship now and we’ll look forward to sitting down and visiting and trying to come up with a plan to make the Bucks respectable again..

Re: “Meeting the new General Manager: “Right now I just disappointed in the loss. I’m sure we’ll have the chance to meet and go from there. We knew that it was going to happen.”

Re: Messages or suggestions to him: “I’m sure he’s seen from afar, but he probably doesn’t know everything, so I’ll just talk to him. We’ll move forward. He knows that. That is why he’s here and so, we’ll go from there.”

Re: Work to do: “We have a talented team as I think Des (Desmond Mason) said a few minutes ago. He’ll figure out what is best for the team and the organization whatever may be and go forward. You know, coming from the Detroit organization, he knows what success is and what it takes to be successful. It’ll be interesting.”

Ramon Sessions

Re: Playing the Celtics: “Great team. We came across a great team tonight in the Boston. That’s why they’re one of the best teams in the league. They came out. The big three didn’t play as much, but they’ve got guys that can get it done.”

Re: Comfort running the offense: “The more experience the better. I’ve got to tip my hat to Mo Williams, Royal Ivey, Charlie Bell, the guys who help me out in practice and on the court when I’m still playing they’re still teaching me. You know, they pull me to the side and I’m just trying to learn on the go.”

Re: Carrying into next year: “You know my situation, being in the D-league and putting up pretty good numbers and I’m trying to show guys that I can play on this level too night in and night out. That’s what I try to come out and do, run the offense as best as I can.”
