The Milwaukee Bucks have announced the return of Milwaukee Bucks Summer Basketball Camps for youth with four sessions at four sites over four weeks scheduled this summer. The Bucks pioneered youth basketball camps in the late 1960s and generated over 30 camp sessions in seven states by the mid-seventies.

“Basketball continues to attract record participation by boys and girls all 12 months of the year,” John F. Steinmiller, Bucks Vice-President of Business Operations commented. “We are pleased to once again provide focused attention and expert instruction during the summer to young people at all basketball skill levels while bringing many Milwaukee Bucks resources to the camps.”

2009 Summer Basketball Camps

Aaron Sovern is a veteran of youth basketball education and administration, having served in and directed basketball camp programs for over 13 years. He has coached on the high school and junior high school levels and specializes in developing and leading youth basketball programs that provide confidence building, sportsmanship values, academic encouragement, team play, and the basics of basketball skill development. These are the priorities that Aaron will bring to the 2009 Milwaukee Bucks Summer Basketball Camps!
