PRÊMIO AO COMPANHEIRISMO NBA

O Austin Croshere (Indiana), o Shane Battier (Memphis), o Jacque Vaughn (New Jersey), o Grant Hill (Orlando), o Steve Nash (Phoenix), e o Andrei Kirilenko (Utah) foram escolhidos por um painel de cinco ex-jogadores como os ganhadores divisionais do Prêmio de Companheirismo na temporada 2004-05.

Originalmente apresentado ao final da temporada 1995-96, este título premia ao jogador que melhor representa os ideais de companheirismo na quadra: comportamento ético, jogo limpo e integridade. O troféu foi batizado em honra ao ex-jogador Joe Dumars, ganhador do primeiro prêmio. Este ano marca a segunda ocasião na que este prêmio é entregado por votação. O ganhador da temporada será anunciado no finalizar da temporada regular.

O troféu para este prêmio terá o nome do Joe Dumars, em homenagem ao lendário jogador dos Detroit Pistons atual presidente da equipe, que jogou na NBA durante 14 temporadas e se converteu no primeiro ganhador deste prêmio em 1996.

Os ex-jogadores Tom Heinsohn, Eddie Johnson, Steve Mix, Kelly Tripucka e Stu Lantz, foram os encarregados de selecionar os ganhadores de cada divisão entre um grupo de 30 nomeados.
