Bobcats players Matt Carroll, Melvin Ely and Kevin Burleson took time out of their busy schedules during this six-game homestand to serve as instructors for the clinic.
The kids worked with some of their favorite players on some of the basic skills of the game, including shooting, defense, blocking out and ball handling.
But this clinic wasn’t just about instruction. It was about inspiration, as well.
Perhaps the most important lesson of the night came from Carroll, who shared with the kids the importance of trying to live out their dreams through hard work, dedication and determination.
Kennedy Middle School was filled with around 400 people -- ranging from youth players that wore their Bobcats jerseys or Bobcats Youth cheerleading uniforms to their family and friends.
