March 13, 2010

Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace underwent a precautionary MRI on Saturday morning and the results came back negative for any fractures or ligament damage in his left ankle and foot. Wallace has a left ankle and mid-foot sprain. He was removed from crutches and will be put in a walking boot.

Wallace will be listed as day-to-day and will travel with the team to Orlando (March 14) and Indiana (March 16).

Wallace suffered the injury in last night’s 106-98 win over the L.A. Clippers. X-rays taken at the arena also came back negative.
