The Bobcats will offer a Season Ticket Guarantee to all non-premium season ticket holders for the 2005-06 season in the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Fans will be given the opportunity to return unused season tickets after the first five regular season games are played in the new arena and receive a refund on the remainder of their season ticket package.

“I am inviting everyone to give us a try,” said Robert L. Johnson, majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats organization. “We have a developed a fantastic core of fans and have had great response from our current season ticket holders about the move into the new arena. I feel strongly that once people experience Bobcats basketball in what will be the best arena in the country, they will agree with us that they have made a great investment.

“The Charlotte Bobcats Arena will feature incredible amenities for every fan. But ultimately, it’s about making an emotional investment in our team, and I believe we will be worth it,” Johnson continued. “We have strong leadership and a great group of players that compete hard and play every game to win.

“This offer is particularly important for those season ticket purchasers who may be unsure about the significant benefits they will be taking advantage of in the new arena. I’m confident that once fans experience the new arena, they will see that it was created with every fan in mind.”

The Bobcats Season Ticket Guarantee will provide fans with the opportunity to be released from their season ticket obligation only after the first five regular season home games played at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in 2005. Fans who wish to return their season tickets will have five business days following the Bobcats fifth home game to do so. Only tickets that have been used for all five home regular season games will be eligible for this offer.

Fans who wish to return their season tickets will be required to return all unused tickets from the remaining 36 home games and will receive payment for those games purchased in their plan. Payment will be made to the name on the season ticket account and will be provided in the same form that the original payment was made in (cash, check, credit card). This offer will apply to all season tickets that are purchased by September 30.

Non-premium seats do not include Club and Inner Circle Club locations or luxury seating options such as Founders and Uptown Suites, Royal Boxes, Ledge Dining and Terrace Tables.

The Charlotte Bobcats season ticket relocation effort has officially tipped-off this week with existing season ticket holders visiting the Bobcats Relocation Center in Hearst Tower at scheduled times to select their seats in the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Appointment times are based on pre-determined priority established prior to the 2004-05 season.

Deposits ($250 per ticket) are also now being accepted by the Bobcats for new season ticket holders for the 2005-06 season in the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Both returning season ticket holders and new season ticket holders are eligible for the Bobcats Season Ticket Guarantee.
