TURNING POINT
Rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist helped set the tone early on in this one, scoring 10 points in the first six minutes as Charlotte took a 32-23 lead at the end of the first quarter... Fellow rookie Jeffery Taylor and veteran Kemba Walker added to the Bobcats offensive outburst in the second quarter, as each finished with 12 points in the half and helped the Cats to a 62-46 halftime lead that only grew in the second half.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Bobcats dominated in almost every statistical category... Charlotte outshot Sacramento 48.4 percent (46 of 95) to 37.7 percent (26 of 69) from the field and 35.0 percent (7 of 20) to 20.8 percent (5 of 24) from beyond the arc... The Bobcats forced 23 Kings turnovers they turned into 33 points, while coughing the ball up just 11 times... Charlotte dominated the paint, outscoring Sacramento, 66-34, and outrebounding the Kings on the offensive glass, 21-14.

BOBCATS PLAYERS OF THE GAME
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist made his Bobcats debut, scoring 18 points to go with eight rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Kemba Walker ran the show effectively for the Bobcats, finishing with 16 points, seven assists and two steals.

KINGS PLAYER OF THE GAME
Thomas Robinson led Sacramento with 19 points and added five rebounds in his Summer League debut.

GAME NOTES
All five starters scored in double-digits for Charlotte, led by 20 points from Byron Mullens. Kidd-Gilchrist (18), Taylor (17), Walker (16) and Bismack Biyombo (12) provided the Bobcats with plenty of scoring options... Cory Higgins was the lone Cats reserve to hit the double-digit scoring mark with 10 points... Kidd-Gilchrist's dunk in the second quarter drew the biggest reaction from the crowd and earned him a spot in ESPN's top plays of the night... Kemba Walker twice kept the crowd in awe with ankle-breaking moves on Jimmer Fredette that enabled him to get to the rim and convert.
