Bobcats Assistant General Manager Karl Hicks talks things over with some season ticket holders on February 13 before Charlotte's game against Portland.

The Bobcats recognized February as Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Month, honoring their most committed fans with special discounts, one-of-a-kind prizes and exclusive team access during the team’s eight home games.

“Our season ticket holders are our biggest supporters and we are happy to be able to show them our appreciation throughout the month,” said Bobcats President and Chief Operating Officer Ed Tapscott when Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Month tipped off. “The experiences we are providing for them are one way we can say thank you to our loyal fans.”

    HITTING THE ROAD
    The prizes continued to be handed out on February 15, as season ticket holders Patricia O'Herron Norman, Michael Kahn, Tom Grogan, Rich Goldsborough and Lawton Wiggins were selected to accompany the Bobcats on the team plane with a guest to Cleveland to watch the Bobcats play the Cavaliers on March 22.


    PHILLIPS WINS ALL-STAR TRIP
    The Bobcats would like to extend their heartfelt congratulations to season ticket holder Jason Phillips, who won the 2006 All-Star Weekend package at the game against the Blazers on February 13. The package includes two round-trip tickets to Houston, a hotel room, two full-ticket packages for the entire All-Star Weekend and $250 in spending money.


    EXCLUSIVE "CHALK TALK" HELD
    Prior to the Bobcats February 13 game against Portland, season ticket holders had the chance to attend an exclusive "Chalk Talk" with Bobcats President and Chief Operating Officer Ed Tapscott and Assistant General Manager Karl Hicks at the Presbyterian Training Center at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Assistant Coach Gary Kloppenburg also stopped by to give a scouting report on the Trail Blazers, and rookie forward Sean May took the time to sign autographs.     SEASON TICKET HOLDERS GET AUTOGRAPHS IN 333
    Following the Bobcats 112-102 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on February 3, season ticket holders in the club seats, royal boxes, terrace tables, ledge seats and suites had a postgame meet-and-greet with Bobcats Emeka Okafor and Sean May in Charlotte Bobcats Arena's fine dining restaurant, 333.     BICKERSTAFF CONFERENCE CALL
    Season Ticket Holders had an exciting opportunity to partake in an exclusive conference call and question-and-answer session with Bobcats General Manager and Head Coach Bernie Bickerstaff on February 2. Read the transcript from the conference call now.


    FIVE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WIN SUITE NIGHTS
    Five season ticket holders were randomly selected at the start of the month to receive a suite night for 16 guests, including a $500 food and beverage package and four free parking passes. The five winners selected were:

  • Adam Garfinkle -- February 8 vs. 76ers
  • John Geter -- February 10 vs. Raptors
  • Michael Childers -- February 13 vs. TrailBlazers
  • Jeffrey Huberman -- February 15 vs. Nets
