Bobcats Re-Launch Website With Dynamic Content

FEBRUARY 4, 2008 - The Charlotte Bobcats today re-launched their newly-enhanced website, bobcats.com. The site provides in-depth information about the team through a variety of different mediums, including print, audio and video feeds. The newly designed site is easier to navigate and offers a cleaner design with more content. The restructured navigation will also help users find information in fewer clicks. Key features of the re-launched site include:

- A cleaner look and feel;
- Extensive video, audio and photo galleries;
- Links to video features and interviews with players, coaches, the Lady Cats and more;
- Highlights of past games;
- Press release archive;
- Interactive schedule; and,
- Extensive ticket, community and program sections.

Changes to the web site are the result of a thorough evaluation of the needs of season ticket holders, sponsors and fans.

“In addition to a new look and feel, we’ve added several new user-friendly components for our fans,” said Fred Whitfield, chief operating officer and president of Charlotte Bobcats Sports and Entertainment. “This newly enhanced website will help fans all over the region keep up to the minute with all facets of the team. By offering a more dynamic online experience, bobcats.com allows fans the opportunity to not only easily locate and research their favorite players, but also look back at past games or seasons and gauge their progress.”

True9, an interactive agency based in Edgewater, New Jersey worked with the Charlotte Bobcats and the NBA Digital Services Team to develop the new website.
